A New Covenant Part 3

 Rebounding relationships, bring baggage and create confused covenants.

 It only takes a small dose of the wrong thing, to corrupt the whole thing.

1. Jesus didn’t cancel the contract with Israel, he fulfilled it.
Matt 5:17 - Jn 19:28 - Heb 8:13 - Rom 7:1

2. Jesus left a trail of bread crumbs toward his new agreement.
Matt 22:37 Jesus said, Love the Lord your God with all your heart… 39 And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
John 8:56 - Matt 12:6 - Matt 12:42 – Mark 2:5 - Matt 5:21 - Matt 5:27 - Matt 5:38 – Matt 5:43 - Jn 13:3

3. With Jesus new covenant, he also issued a new command.
John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
1 Cor 11:23 - Phil 2:5 - Eph 5:2 - Eph 4:32 - Col 3:13 - 1 Cor 13:4
 Love is one thing; that governs the rest of the things.

4. Jesus established his “brand” for his new arrangement with the world.
John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
