From Excuses to Reasons

1. There’s a fine line between an excuse and a reason.
2. We often turn excuses into reasons to defend our bad behavior.
3. The root of an excuse is blaming something internal on something external.
4. Excuses compete for the boss-ship of your life.
Hebrews 12:1 Let us lay aside everything that hinders - and the sin which so easily entangles us - Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
5. Excuses can be selfishness; disguised as humility.

Fixing our eyes on Jesus - The author and finisher of our faith - Who for the joy set before him endured the cross.
6. You can make an excuse or you can make a difference; but you can’t do both.
